Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented MYOB / Accounts and Administration Assistant to support Australian finance and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience using MYOB, prior experience working with an Australian company, and a solid understanding of the Australian taxation system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions using MYOB, including data entry and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and issue invoices, follow up on outstanding payments
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with payroll processing and superannuation requirements
- Support BAS preparation and compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Provide general administrative support as required
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, accountants, and external vendors
