Nanaimo Plastic Surgeon Locum Needed

The Division of Plastic Surgery in Nanaimo, BC seeks a locum Plastic Surgeon from August to December 2026. Cover general plastic surgery alongside a dynamic team of professionals.
This role invites participation in paid on-call service as part of the North Island Plastic Surgery group, which includes Nanaimo and Campbell River. Responsibilities include breast reconstruction, hand surgeries, and addressing facial trauma and skin cancer. Flexible start times and duration make it a perfect short-term position for qualified surgeons.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in on-call coverage with 7 other surgeons
• Provide breast reconstruction and hand surgery
• Manage facial trauma and skin cancer cases
• Conduct microsurgeries as needed
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team
Requirements:
• Fellowship in Plastic Surgery necessary
• FRCSC certification is required
• Must be eligible for CPSBC licensure
• Commitment to high standards of surgery
