About the Program

The External Relations (ER) Portfolio is responsible for increasing awareness and understanding of Mawlana Hazar Imam, the Ismaili Imamat, and Imamat institutions in Canada. The portfolio also advances relationships with government, civil society, and other external stakeholders while supporting the Jamat’s priorities and public voice through partnerships, policy work, media engagement, and community representation. The portfolio operates nationally with regional teams across Canada, delivering programs and engagement that reflect the Jamat’s ethics of service, pluralism, and civic contribution.

About the Role

The National Coordinator, External Relations Operations plays a key role in supporting the ER Canada team by ensuring operational alignment and follow-through on portfolio activities.
