Job Title: National Manager Health Underwriting Location: Pan-India (Head Office with travel as required) Role Purpose: To lead and manage the health underwriting function across India, ensuring robust risk assessment, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and development of innovative underwriting strategies to support business growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Underwriting Strategy & Governance Define and implement underwriting policies and guidelines for health insurance products. Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and internal risk frameworks. Develop risk selection criteria and pricing strategies aligned with company objectives. Portfolio Management Monitor portfolio performance, loss ratios, and claims trends. Identify risk patterns and recommend corrective actions to maintain profitability.
