About the Role

FSC Fishery Management

• Manage all aspects of the Food, Social and Ceremonial Fishery
• Respond to community requests and questions regarding the FSC fishery
• Distribute FSC tags and ensure all required documentation is completed
• Complete all reporting requirements to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) in accordance with agreements

Administration & Operations

• Oversee departmental procurement and contracting in accordance with GFN Financial Administrative Law
• Ensure all equipment (e.g., fisheries vehicle, lobster tank) is properly maintained and meets safety standards
