Job Description
About the Position
The NDT FPI Engineer is in charge of executing the inter-operations inspections of non‑destructive tests to determine acceptance or rejection of production parts in accordance with written instructions.
Responsibilities- Interpret and evaluate the results of non‑destructive tests according to the applicable codes, standards and specifications.
- Participate in the overall improvement of process layout / facilities, methodologies & techniques of NDT FPI.
- Generate acceptance or rejection reports.
- Configure and calibrate equipment to perform non‑destructive duties.
- Develop work instructions according to general procedures, to later be approved by the Level III.
- Provide advice and/or supervision to assigned NDT Trainees in the technique‑method for which they are certified.
- Participate in internal/external audits.
