About the role:

The main focus of this position is to assist the Nets Manager and Assistant Manager Nets with the repair, maintenance, and general work on fish and bird nets. Additional duties include:

• Roping and stitching: Properly rope and stitch nets according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Splicing: Assist with splicing tasks as needed.
• Training and development: Participate in training sessions to improve your skills and knowledge.
• Predator monitoring: Monitor and report any predator activity, such as seals and birds, in the nets.
• Adhering to protocols: Follow all company policies, procedures, and biosecurity protocols.
