Network Engineer

**Job Purpose and Impact**

The Network Engineer will design transformation, deployment, automation, operation, and own Cargill’s software defined network infrastructure with an initial focus on migration of legacy networking infrastructure to modern software defined networking infrastructure. In this role you will provide thought leadership and actively engage in a network transformation project to migrate legacy physical networking infrastructure to Modern software defined networking infrastructure to architect, build, secure, and maintain.

**Key Accountabilities**

+ Provide technical leadership and influence the use of software development and infrastructure as code practices to design, build and support software defined network capabilities.
+ Provide expert leadership across network teams to resolve complex problems and remove roadblocks.
