Network Engineer L1 (Dispatch)

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
• Perform onsite rack installation, cabling, and hardware replacement activities
• Execute configuration tasks using console access and remote management tools
• Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis (Layer 1–3 issues)
• Coordinate with remote engineering teams (e.g., Systal engineers) during deployment and fault resolution
• Conduct hardware health checks and preventive maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with site access, safety, and operational procedures
• Support migration, upgrade, and expansion projects for network infrastructure
• Document all activities, configurations, and changes accurately in service management tools

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
