Network engineer level 2 - isando

The Network Engineer Level 2 configures, manages, and troubleshoots enterprise network devices and services independently. Provides second-line engineering support, ensures high availability, and contributes to enhancements and upgrades in network performance and security.
The intermediate role provides a mix of RUN (incident resolution, day-to-day operations) and GROW (enhancements, projects, optimisations).
Key deliverables and outputs
Network Configuration and Support
Independently configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers
Implement VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols
Ensure changes comply with standards and policies. Incident, Problem, and Change Management
Resolve escalated incidents from Level 1 Engineers/Technicians
Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
Maintain detailed configuration and change records
