Network Engineer

Network Engineer functions in three main areas: Operations, Planning, and Management.Operations- Actively monitoring the network and responding to alerts and verifying notifications sent by network monitoring and management systems.
- Acting as first line of support for network incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and triage before categorizing and escalating incident tickets.
Maintaining incident management and documentation throughout the incident's lifecycle.Planning- Coordinating and communicating maintenance windows.
Working with local site IT leaders and Network administrators to provide maintenance windows and describe maintenance impact according to thorough impact analysis.
- Keeping track of license, maintenance, and support contracts and their expiry dates.
Escalating to management when expiration dates are near.Management- Documenting Infrastructure changes (Move, Add, Change, and Delete – MACD) for infrastructure devices and Network Tools.
