Network F5 Load Balancer

Technical Skills 5+ years of F5 working experience. Implementation/troubleshooting knowledge of F5 LTM/GTM load balancing. Should possess experience of handling major issues.

Should possess design/build experience for the F5 related requests. Should have a good hold on TMSH commands and have device operational knowledge. Load Balancing concepts such as Clusters, Cookie persistence, Big-IP & Virtual IP, Whitelisting.

Advanced Technical knowledge of TCP/IP and UNIX. Knowledge with network devices (routers, switches, etc.), including such topics as HTTP headers, ISO layers, and TCP flags.

Intermediate-level knowledge of SSL (particularly server-based) and DNS admin experience. Possess familiarity with F5 load balancing and other security products. Having professional Security Certifications would be advantageous.

IPAM /DNS/DHCP management tool exposure- Infoblox, Vital QIP, or TCP Wave. Awareness of DNS zones, TLD, ccTLD. DNS records (A, CNAME, NS, MX).
