Network LAN Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Design and deploy functional networks (LAN and WLAN) involving Datacentres, Campus offices etc around Cisco Nexus and ACI Technologies.

2. Configure and install Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco WLC and other Cisco network devices. This includes routing via VMWare NSX products.

3. Monitor/Administer network health check, performance and integrity (BAU), which may include weekends, if needed

4. Resolve BAU operational issues within the agreed timeframe.

5. Mentor L1 team members on technical issues

6. Communicate with users when needed

7. Maintain complete technical documentation

8. Suggest improvements to network performance, automation, capacity and scalability

9. Perform 24x7 standby (on rotation) and participate/solve in Sev1 incidents.
