Network Planning Manager – Electricity Sector

A leading semi-government utilities organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Network Planning Manager – Electricity to lead the strategic planning, development, and optimization of the electricity distribution network. This is a senior technical role responsible for ensuring reliability, capacity growth, and long-term infrastructure planning in line with national energy objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop short-, medium-, and long-term electricity network planning strategies.

Conduct load forecasting, capacity analysis, and demand growth modelling.

Lead network expansion projects, reinforcements, and system upgrades.

Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards, safety, and technical codes.

Coordinate with engineering, operations, asset management, and capital planning teams.

Prepare technical reports, investment justifications, and planning recommendations to senior management.
