Network & Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts and firewall-related events in a timely manner.
• Investigate security incidents, analyze logs, and identify the root cause of issues.
• Continuously monitor firewall health, including CPU, memory utilization, traffic throughput, and system logs.
• Identify and troubleshoot firewall performance and configuration issues.
• Use security and firewall management tools to monitor, analyze, and report suspicious activities.
• Assist in implementing approved configuration changes, including firewall rule updates and policy modifications.
• Apply initial mitigation steps for security incidents and escalate complex or critical issues to senior engineers when required.
