Position Summary

A Neuropsychologist is required to offer neuropsychological services to children and youth with acute and complex medical-surgical conditions. Referrals come from neurology, rheumatology, cardiology, oncology/hematology, paediatrics and other services. Services include comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and short‑term intervention. The psychologist will also provide ongoing consultation to team members, families, and community providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessment to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Offer consultation and short‑term intervention to children and youth.
  • Liaise with other health professionals regarding assessment findings and recommendations.
  • Supervise and train pre‑doctoral psychology residents and practicum students.
