Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner, responsible for delivering care to patients admitted to Neurosurgery at Chandler Regional Medical Center in collaboration with the physician/medical director, you will assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within your scope of practice. This includes taking patient's history, performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, establishing diagnosis, and providing care and management for common illnesses and disease prevention.

Every day, you may assist with patient admission, transfer, or discharge. You will make appropriate referrals to specialists and community agencies, and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop patient-centered plans.
