Job Description

 
  Activities 
 Provide technical support for Offshore Survey teams (advice in case of malfunctions and problems with equipment, external support contacts, being a point of contact with supplier) 
 Fault / problem logging of offshore teams (collect and provide technical bulletins to advise the fleet on problems / solutions. 
 Collect and maintain current ship information (equipment inventories, inspection schedules, ship guides, etc.) 
 Provide project planning assistance and collaborate with Project Surveyors to define bill of materials needed for new projects. 
 Provide support to Base Workshop where necessary 
  Requirements  
 HBO/MBO working and thinking level with a relevant education in electronics 
 Thorough knowledge of different interface formats and understanding of interfacing between survey an ROV 
 Good understanding of Optic Fiber systems
