Job details

For one of our clients active in agricultural commodities trading, we are recruiting a Soybean Trader to be based in Geneva.

Your mission:

• Define and execute a trading strategy focused on Soybeans, managing both physical flows and hedging activity (futures/options) on relevant benchmarks.
• Build and deliver a business plan (volumes, margins, destinations, counterparties) in close coordination with origination/marketing, under the guidance of the Head of Trade.
• Develop and maintain a robust Supply & Demand (S&D) view for Soybeans, providing timely market intelligence, supply scenarios, crush margins dynamics, and quality/availability insights to support pricing and positioning.
• Act as a cash/physical trader with strong commercial judgement, managing end-to-end execution and P&L contribution while ensuring disciplined risk management (limits, VaR/stop-loss logic, hedging ratios, basis exposure, freight exposure)...
