 Location: Sydney, Australia

 The Role
 
 The ABC News Channel is looking for an early-to-mid career news producer who lives and breathes news and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. On any given day you’ll be across more than a dozen stories writing copy, cutting vision as well as producing live crosses and identifying the news lines in interviews and press conferences.
 
 You will work closely with our team of producers, contributing to daily news production, undertaking a range of editorial and technical tasks, and supporting the smooth operation of the newsroom. This includes contributing to editorial discussions, creating news content, generating story ideas, monitoring news sources, and helping develop and mentor newer staff as required
