Basic Functions

Performs night audit policies and procedures during the night. Making sure that all revenue and non-revenue postings have been made for accuracy and reliability of the revenue figures.

Primary Duties

• Checks Arrival and departure module in Opera for any guests checking in and checking out of the hotel. Checks the accuracy of the room rates and profiles of newly arrived guest, whilst, checking the mode of settlement made by departing guests is a must.
• Checks accuracy of charges made thru POS, Miscellaneous Charges Vouchers, Food & Beverage checks, Debit Memos and the likes.
• Finalizes guest folio of rooms expected to check-out the next day.
• Ensures all POS dockets are closed to respective rooms, MCVs are posted, Food & Beverage checks are cleared before performing end-of-day process.
• Performs POS back-up after all POS checks has been closed to respective rooms.
