Non-Registered Laboratory Technologist (NRT)

Overview

Position Overview: Responsible to collect, receive and prepare samples for diagnostic testing and result reporting. Provides support to Medical Laboratory Technologists. Provides other supporting services including equipment care and calibration.

Site locations: Ottawa, Almonte, Kemptville, Cornwall, Arnprior, Kanata, Nepean, Vanier, Winchester, Carleton Place, Deep River, Hawkesbury, Renfrew, Alexandria

Lab disciplines: Hematology, Histology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Transfusion Medicine, Flow Cytometry, Molecular Labs, Immunohistochemistry and Core Labs

Rotation/Shifts: Varies by site/department and may include days, evenings, nights and weekends.
