NONDESTRUCTIVE TEST INSPECTOR

Summary You will serve as a NONDESTRUCTIVE TEST INSPECTOR in the NDT Production Support Branch, Nondestructive Test and Nonnuclear Inspection Division, Code 1352 Quality Assurance Office, of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will utilize the most advanced test methods and procedures in solving the most complex inspection problems. You will conduct radiographic inspections. You will perform calibration and safety checks of test equipment prior to and performance of NDT inspections. You will conduct liquid penetrant inspections to detect surface discontinuities in both ferrous and non ferrous materials and welds using both visible and fluorescent dyes.
