Nova Cad BC Inc. is hiring a F/T Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant.

· Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant

· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $30.00~$35.00/hour (depending on experience)

· Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:

· Prepare plaster models and moulds based on dental impressions

· Prepare wax bite-blocks and custom impression trays

· Cast and shape gold or metal alloys for dental bridges and denture bases

· Pack plastic material into moulds to produce full or partial dentures

· Mould wax over denture set-up to create natural gum contours

· Make orthodontic bandsusing materials such as gold, silver, or stainless steel

· Finish metal framework of dentures and polish and buff dentures to obtain natural finish
