Defining electrical hardware requirements for new hardware components, assemblies, and systems Preparing/reviewing design documentation, such as hardware drawings, wiring diagrams, failure modes and effects analysis, reliability calculations, hardware design specifications, power and heat calculations, test specifications, procedures, & reports, commercial grade dedication plans, etc. Collaborating with programmable logic engineers to ensure compatibility and integration with the hardware components Testing hardware prototypes and analyzing and documenting the results Troubleshooting and diagnosing errors and suggesting design modifications Overseeing the hardware vendors, contract manufacturers, manufacturing, and integration personnel to ensure end products meet the specified d...
