Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory Technician (Ref: Technician 2025-01 NMR)

Overview

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to work in the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Unit of the Reaction Technologies Department. ICIQ is committed to excellent research at the frontier of knowledge in chemistry (Catalysis, Artificial Photosynthesis, Activation of Small Molecules, Photovoltaics, Functional Molecular Assemblies and Chemical Biology). The institute also aims to train the next generation of scientists by offering high-quality educational programmes to master, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. The candidate will work in the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Unit, which provides researchers with access to a wide range of NMR experiments and supervises usage and optimization of instrumental resources.

Services offered from the NMR Unit include training researchers, advising on appropriate experiments, and supporting researchers in using NMR to obtain information and optimize resources.
