Nunavut Exploration Geologist Role

Agnico Eagle is seeking a Geologist to support exploration activities in Nunavut, focused on core logging and geological data sampling. This role involves implementing current software for geological support.
Reporting to the Exploration Coordinator, you will be integral to the exploration team. You'll ensure that geological data is meticulously collected following QA/QC protocols, and contribute to the planning of exploration programs. Your work will directly impact the success of exploration efforts and enrich geological understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Log, photograph, and sample core accurately
• Engage in geological mapping and prospecting
• Maintain compliance with QA/QC data standards
• Update and manage exploration databases
• Contribute to health and safety protocols on site
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Geology or relevant field
