Nurse Graduate Guarantee (NGG) Candidate Pool

Overview

Unity Health Toronto is a proud participant of the Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program. The NGG provides new graduates and internationally educated nurses with opportunities for extensive orientation, preceptorship by an experienced nurse, acquisition of new clinical knowledge and skills, and learning how to prioritize patient care needs and manage a workload.

Eligibility

Program is open to Canadian and internationally educated nurses who meet the following criteria:

Canadian Educated Nurses

• Graduated with a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a diploma from a practical nursing program in Canada;
• Match with an employer on the NGG online portal within 12 months of registering with the CNO;
• Commit to accepting full‑time employment or the equivalent with their NGG employer after completing the NGG program transition into practice period.

Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs)
