The LCH CVICU (pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit) at Levine Children's Hospital recently expanded from a 10-bed unit to now 20 beds. This high acuity unit is currently ranked #8 in the country for Best Children's Hospital for Cardiology and Heart Surgery by U.S. News and World Report in 2025, making this the third consecutive year to be ranked within the top 10 programs in the nation. The staffing ratio is usually 1:1 or 1:2 and we care for a wide range of ages, from neonate to 18 years of age.
