Be at the forefront of a transformative approach to primary care. We are seeking two Nurse Practitioners to join a new, 10,000 square foot Indigenous Community Health Centre (ICH) opening in early 2027.

Anticipated Opening: Early 2027

The Indigenous Community Health Centre is a partnership between the Port Alberni Friendship Centre, Port Alberni Primary Care Network, Island Health, and the BC Ministry of Health to enhance primary health care services in the region.

This is a modern, purpose‑built space designed to provide culturally safe, holistic, and comprehensive care. You will be part of a team tasked with reducing barriers to healthcare and improving longitudinal outcomes for the Indigenous community and beyond.
