The Nurse Practitioner in this role will be providing primary care with a focus on mental health and substance use, in a low barrier patient centred approach. Knowledge and experience in trauma informed care, addiction medicine, and vulnerable populations is an asset. NPs applying for this position are encouraged to have specialty training in Addiction Medicine from the BCCSU Provincial Opioid Addiction Treatment Support Program and can be supported for those new to this practice.
