Nurse Practitioner Specialist (Part Time/Flex)

Advanced Practice Nurse

In collaboration with a physician, assumes total patient care for designated patients in a specialty setting. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Graduate of an advanced practice nursing program

5 years of related experience

Advanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of nursing services and in specialty area(s)

Licensure, registration, certification:

BLS

One of the following:

• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

CRNP credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and collaboration with physician approved by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners
