About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse Leader to step into the role of Nurse Team Leader. This is a hands on leadership position where you will combine direct patient care with the coordination and mentorship of a dynamic nursing team. You will be the go to resource on the floor, guiding staff, ensuring smooth unit operations, and fostering a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead the nursing team, including Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing, providing clinical guidance and advanced patient care.
Mentor and develop junior nurses and students, coordinating orientation, training, and ongoing professional development.
Oversee the daily flow of the unit, including rostering, leave planning, resource allocation, and maintaining the right skillsets for shifts.
Drive quality and safety initiatives, manage clinical governance issues, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
