Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities The Telemedicine Clinic Coordinator manages all aspects of a multi-disciplinary telemedicine program across multiple federal correctional facilities. Telemedicine coordination is performed within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse (RN) as defined by licensing agencies and the BOP (current licensure must be maintained). Facilitates telemedicine video visits between the inmate and the clinical provider via approved video teleconference communications (VTC). Establish strong relationships with outside hospitals and clinicians to transition the delivery of high-quality patient care from community-based to telemedicine-based care when appropriate.
