Job Description
- Makes beds and changes linens to ensure patient comfort and hygiene.
- Measures vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation, and cardiac rate.
- Assists patients with mobility, helping them reposition or transfer between beds and wheelchairs.
- Provides morning care and bathroom assistance, especially for level II patients.
- Offers sponge baths, hair shampooing, and diaper changes for level II and III patients.
- Serves meals and provides assistance with eating when necessary.
- Answers patient calls, assesses needs, and relays messages to nursing staff.
- Collects relevant patient information for physicians and nurses regarding care and treatment.
- Performs pre-operative care, including removing jewelry to prepare patients for surgery.
