Nursing Assistant

BASIC FUNCTIONS
Nursing Assistant aids nurses in providing basic patient care and other uncomplicated tasks that may be delegated.

Education : Preferably a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (underboard) any two-year medical related course (preferably has a Caregiving NC Certificate).

Experience : At least one (1) year of related work experience but not required, fresh graduates may be considered.

Training : Basic Life Support, Customer Service Training

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living (ADL's).
• Answer phone calls and patient calls.
• Assist in patient turning.
• Listen to patients regarding health concerns and complaints and report it to the nurse.
• Assist nurses in preparation and operation of medical equipment.
• Collect and bring specimens to ancillary services.
