DEPARTMENT: MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTIONS POSITION LOCATION: OWEN SOUND UNION AFFILIATION: ONA STATUS: FULL-TIME REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT WAGE RATE: $45.49 - $64.06 Reporting to the Outpatient Mental Health and Addictions Manager, the Nurse Coordinator is responsible for clinical leadership, coordination, and oversight for patient care delivery with a specialized focus on addiction medicine and substance use care. The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for staff scheduling, daily staffing assignments, maintaining equipment and supplies necessary for delivery of care. The Nurse Coordinator will act as a role model for staff promoting effective multi‑disciplinary communication, coordination of care and implementation of evidence based best practices in mental health and addiction medicine.
