Nursing Prof Dev Practitioner

Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). MSN or Masters degree preferred. Indiana Perinatal Standards require that NICU and Obstetrics educators have a Masters degree MSN preferred or be actively in progress of obtaining the degree. Valid Registered Nurse License required for the State where services will be provided. Nursing Professional Development certification within 3 years. Certification in other clinical specialty area encouraged. Must have minimum of three years experience in direct patient care. Indiana Perinatal Standards require that NICU and Obstetrics educators must have advanced neonatal and obstetrical experience.
