Nursing – Registered Professional Nurse, Imaging

Duties:

Is knowledgeable on the performance of a radiology nurse competency in performing nursing care and monitoring of patients during stress tests and procedures. Performs Regular and Nuclear Stress Testing with physician. Assesses and evaluates patient, obtains venous access, and monitors patients receiving contrast media injection. Provides patient education on tests and medications administered in the department. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Licensed and currently registered to practice Professional Nursing in New York State. BSN Degree required. BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required. Critical Care experience required. Previous experience in Radiology preferred. Physical capability of safely executing the duties and responsibilities required of the position (e.g., lifting, transferring).
