**About the Role**:
A **core team member** who combines hands-on development for growth-stage companies with sparring and advisory support for the CEO/owners on technology choices, product roadmap and scaling strategy.
Will step straight in as **acting CTO / principal developer** for two portfolio companies.
Splits time roughly **50 % hands-on coding** and 50 % strategic development and team/vendor management.
Drives continuous improvement of digital processes, data architecture and DevOps routines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and maintain front-end code, core APIs, web/SaaS platforms and automated data integrations.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies (AI tools, cloud services, low-code platforms, etc.).
Build in-house development capacity or manage external partners; establish best practice for QA, security and documentation.
Define technology and product KPIs and report progress to the CEO.
