OB Technician

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As an OB Technician, you will provide crucial support to the labor and delivery team, maintaining a safe, sterile environment for birthing mothers and newborns.

Every day you'll assist with patient care, prep rooms, manage instruments, support deliveries, transport patients, and ensure efficient workflow, adhering to safety protocols.

To be successful in this role, you need strong knowledge of OB procedures, aseptic techniques, and patient care. Your compassionate support, anticipation of needs, and calm demeanor are paramount for positive birthing outcomes.

+ Assists and supports surgical procedures by setting up tables, instruments and supplies required for cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries and circumcisions. Maintains sterile technique while assisting in draping patient in operative area. Prepares, passes and maintains a correct count of instruments, sutures, sponges and supplies.
