Observatory Instrumentation Scientist

The Association Of Universities For Research In Astronomy is seeking a qualified individual for a role involving support for the 4m telescope operations in La Serena, Chile. This position requires a PhD in Astronomy or a related field and two years of relevant experience.

The candidate will assist users with their observing programs, develop necessary documentation, and aid in calibration and testing of instruments. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
