MDMC is an inter-city hospital that sees about 1,900 annual deliveries and offers a residency program. In addition to private delivery rooms, MDMC offers private postpartum rooms with lactation support and newborn security overlooking the Dallas skyline. MDMC also hosts several monthly classes including childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
