OCC Infrastructure Engineer I

BASIC FUNCTIONS: This entry-level position performs basic systems engineering assignments. This position is also responsible for management support and triage. QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Bachelor's degree

+ Experience in either ServiceDesk/IT Support role for 3-5 years or Systems Engineering/Administrator role for a year.

+ Problem-solving skills.

+ Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux kernel, UNIX kernel, UNIX file system, and Windows infrastructure, prreferably Linux.

+ Knowledge of virtual server environments/cloud environment (preferably AWS).

+ Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.

+ Good oral and written communication skills

+ Knowledge of scripts for automation an advantage

+ Knowledge in ITIL best practices and framework an advantage
