The School of Health and Wellness at Red Deer Polytechnic is currently inviting applications for a part-time Instructor in the Occupational and Physical Therapist Assistant (OPTA) program. The OPTA program is a two year diploma that prepares the graduate for an exciting and challenging career as an Occupational and/or Physical Therapist Assistant. Students learn how to provide assistance to occupational therapists, physiotherapists and clients in a variety of health care settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools, public and private clinics, mental health facilities, and home care programs.
