Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

Overview

We are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to serve as a regional lead for Paladin Technologies’ (PTI) activities in the Pacific Northwest. This position will be based in Vancouver and reports to the Director of Occupational Health and Safety. The OHS Specialist will support the development and implementation of PTI’s corporate OHS, Claims Management, and Recovery at Work programs within the region.

The role promotes a risk-forward culture of safety, working closely with regional management and colleagues to foster a safe working environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining OHS certifications, providing technical guidance on OHS documentation, performing site inspections, maintaining OHS statistics, coordinating investigations, and supporting corporate initiatives. Travel of approximately 10‑25% of the time is required.
