Position Overview

The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is a vital member of the Occupational Health & Safety team and works collaboratively to provide a safe working environment for Mental Health & Addictions employees. Under the general direction of the Clinical Lead, the OHN is responsible for assisting with the design, delivery, maintenance and evaluation of a prevention‑oriented occupational and environmental safety and healthy program for the clients it serves. The OHN works independently and in partnership with workers, employers, unions, health professionals and other stakeholders to promote health in a safe work environment and to provide informed decision‑making support.
