Independently performs administrative duties in support of the department

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

One to three years of related experience required in an administrative support role.

Ability to read and communicate in the English language.

bility to write and read well enough to develop, proof and edit non-routine correspondence, reports and the like for punctuation, consistent format and so forth as well as establish and maintain files and records.

Strong interpersonal skills are required. Proficiency in the use of personal computers, standard office equipment and various software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
