POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for leading, implementing, and overseeing the property’s Occupational Health & Safety system, ensuring compliance with Costa Rica regulations and Marriott International standards.
This role drives structured risk management, promotes a preventive safety culture aligned with Gold Standards, and partners with operations to ensure safe working environments in an ultra-luxury setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Governance & Compliance
Ensure proper implementation of the Occupational Health & Safety system, including Office and Committee.
Oversee compliance with legal requirements and corporate standards.
Manage relationships with regulatory entities (INS, CCSS) and ensure documentation and traceability.
Risk Management
Develop and manage the risk assessment matrix.
Conduct inspections, track corrective actions, and lead incident investigations.
