Occupational Therapist for Early Childhood

Be part of Rooted Family Wellness Centre as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist focused on early childhood development in Kanata. This part-time role supports young children and families through community, in-home, and clinic care.
This position emphasizes relationship-centered, play-based approaches to enhance children's confidence and independence. You'll work closely with families addressing sensory, emotional, and developmental needs in their everyday environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute assessments and individual treatment planning
• Implement play-based, evidence-focused therapies
• Guide and coach caregivers through daily challenges
• Work with a multidisciplinary team for client outcomes
• Keep accurate treatment and professional documentation
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Degree in Occupational Therapy required
